About Us
My name is John Mark Bitancur. I am ex software engineer transitioning back to my first and true love music. I am mainly a hard rock/metal/blues player with my roots in the 70's/80's being influenced by guitar players such as Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, David Gilmour, Gary Moore and many others.
I don't consider myself to be a guitar teacher. I am a guitar player who is still a student. Learning new things and adopt different styles onto my playing.
The reason I started my own web site was to give back to the music community whatever it is I could offer musically. I believe that everyone guitar player has something to offer musically. The one thing I have learned about playing is, you need to be open minded and the ability to always be open to learning. That is the start of what makes a player a great player.
We will cover everything to developing your own style, technique, how to write a killer riff and make it a song, soloing and an emphasis on rhythm playing, equipment reviews, and how to keep your guitar in great shape.
